The Future
Step Outside and our founders have many visions for continuing growth into the future. We plan on growing both internally and through networking with other organizations that have similar missions and values. Some of our ideas and goals are listed below:
The Goal - Increased Access and Affordability:
The Solution - The Student Ambassador Program:
We plan on creating a program that will offer students and young adults stipends to help them volunteer around the world, and in return they will provide us with feedback on the organizations they work with. This will help to grow the available network for other young adults, as well has help individuals afford to participate in service work around the globe. If you would like more information feel free to send an e-mail to student.ambassadors@stepoutsideinitiative.com

The Goal - Increased Participation in Global Service:
The Solution - The Global Volunteer Force:
Step Outside will be creating a team of volunteers who is out making a difference around the world 24/7/365. This is to ensure that Step Outside is not only helping young adults volunteer with confidence, but also making a constant effort ourselves to be a part of the global volunteer effort happening around the world. Our team will include staff, volunteers who have used our referral network, and student ambassadors.

The Goal - An Invaluable Resource and Inspiration:
The Solution – Continuing Evolution:
Part of our mission is to bring volunteering and service-learning into the mainstream. We believe in the value of such experiences, and we would like to see volunteering around the world become the popular thing to do among 15-25 year olds.
We see Step Outside becoming synonymous with global volunteer. We would like any young adult who wishes to volunteer abroad to come to us first to do their research and get the information they need. In addition, we would like to see existing organizations seek out our services to receive our “seal of approval”.
The possibilities for our organization are endless, and we plan on approaching every new initiative with an open mind, while keeping our mission paramount.
