Nathan Williams
Nate graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration, and has spent time consulting as an account manager for a local internet marketing company. His vision for the organization combined with his passion for teaching through hands on engagement makes him the perfect candidate to help define our strategic direction.

Nate grew up in Rhode Island where he developed an affinity for life on the ocean and first discovered his interest in teaching as a sailing instructor during the summers. He carried that experience to his second passion in life, skiing. Nate quickly learned that working with people can be extremely rewarding, and following your passions is the best way to stay motivated and make a difference. This became a theme for Nate as he furthered his education and gained experience in the “real world” through volunteer and travel.
In high school, Nate took his volunteer efforts to the next level by helping form the Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter. He served as the first student body president of that Chapter, and took that experience with him to college. While at St. Michaels he participated in a number of different volunteer programs and focused his efforts on seizing every opportunity to travel, meet new people, and share new experiences. He spent over three months studying in Austria, taking every chance he had to visit a new destination and learn about a new culture.
After college Nate found himself immersed in the world of Internet marketing. He decided he could use the powerful networking tool to inspire other young adults around the world to step outside their comfort zone and experience something new.
WHAT BETTER WAY THAN INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER?
The Step Outside Initiative is the result of both Nate and Pat’s experiences and passions in life. They have developed it in an effort to ensure other young adults have the same opportunities to become a pro-active member of our global community.
