Pat and I recently returned from Rio Limpio, a small mountain villiage in the Dominican Republic on the border of Haiti. We were there on an "Educator Expedition" with Live Learning. The program is designed to teach the "best practices" that ensure successful service-learning programs, while at the same time giving you the chance to actively participate in projects.
