Awaiting Departure
I'm awaiting the confirmation of my background check before booking my flight to Haiti. Go figure that Vermont is one of six states that require a mandatory 10 day waiting period before releasing any information.

Pat Scheld headed to Haiti
Co-founder Pat Scheld is headed to Haiti to volunteer for about 4 weeks with J/P HRO. The purpose of the visit is to work with J/P HRO in their efforts on disaster relief and help them work towards sustainability within the country. He will be living a tent city of nearly 50,000 people near the town Petionville outside of Port au Prince. Check the Volunteers Blog for updates.
